  1. Why is it important to study a world language? I think it is important to study world language because you never know where life will take you or who you will meet along the way. It is important to be able to understand different languages as it can come down to your safety or day-to-day life. It can also aid in connections and learning experiences with people around the world. There is so much to learn from each person you meet, and it would be a shame for a language barrier to stop you from learning about a person or culture.
  2. Why are you studying French? I decided to study French because as a teacher, I will be dealing with lots of students. Each student comes from different backgrounds and with French being one of the biggest languages in the world, I think it will definitely be useful if I were to receive students in my class that are French speakers.
