Talk Abroad #1 Reflection

My talk abroad experience was with Magali Vigneron. She is from Brussels, Belgium and currently lives in Brazil. She is 28 years old. Magali was a great partner! I was definitely nervous at first but she made me feel comfortable pretty quickly. There were a few times where I wasn’t able to understand what she was saying but she would catch on quickly. When I wasn’t sure how to respond she would give me a second in then elaborate with some examples. She was really good at helping me understand by elaborating on her questions which I really appreciated. We had a few things in common which was cool. We both enjoy listening to music and hanging out with friends. We also both like snacks a lot! She made me feel really comfortable pretty quickly and I enjoyed my conversation with Magali. I would talk with her again.
