This one is likely going to be the most difficult one for you to do. You will need to provide some type of documentation of how well you fulfilled your role as an undergraduate teaching assistant. There are two types of assessment that you will need.<\/p>\n

  1. Self-evaluation: Evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses. Take some time to think about the things you did well and the places where you feel things did not go well. Then write at least a half page summary of your own strengths and weaknesses. In your description of the weaknesses, be sure to explain how you will address your weakness. What will you do to eliminate the weakness? Finally, if you had the opportunity to be an UTA again, what would you do differently?<\/li>\n
  2. Other-evaluation: Have the instructor that you worked for to write a brief evaluation of your performance as an undergraduate teaching assistant. There is form located in Blackboard that you can send to your instructor to help him\/her in writing this statement.<\/li>\n
