NIST cybersecurity framework offers a comprehensive framework that helps organizations with their security risk. This framework allows companies to identify, assess, and prioritize the different risks that their organizations may deal with on a daily basis. Additionally, it provides good practices and provides a guide on developing plans to ensure that the company is not at risk when security threats do arise. Their is also an element of continuous improvement for NIST so it is constantly evolving and adapting as the needs of the framework change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to implement the NIST framework at my future workplace I would conduct an assessment of where the potential threats of the company are as well as what type of assets would be most at risk like confidential information or personal information. Once the assessment has been completed I would go about implementing the system to ensure security measures are in place and the company has policies in place in regards to any potential security threat that may arise. I think another important step would be train future and current employees of the policies and processes so they know how to handle security threats and they are knowledgeable in the subject. Once everything has been implement maintaining continuous improvement of the process and monitoring it to see if there are areas where the process needs to be edited or improved upon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
