Developing some kind of cyber security in your business is important. It protects the company’s data from hackers. Granted cyber security can cost a pretty penny it is worth it. Depending on how serious an attack is on a company, it can cost them up to $4 billion. In the article I read it stated that a stolen record can cost a business between $150 to $400. Getting their data hacked is not the only thing that companies have to worry about. Whenever a business is a victim to a cyber attack or a data breach it could cause them to lose their customer breach. Developing cyber security would allow businesses to be prepared for an attack, also training and educating their employees would do them justice. From reading multiple articles cyber security is not cheap. From training their employees, and hacking, companies/businesses have a lot to pay for. Another cost businesses would have to pay for is updates. Keeping up with updates is important because companies need to continue to update their software whenever a new one comes out. Benefits of having some kind of cyber security include protecting networks and data, and allows companies to work safely. I think the biggest advantage of cyber security is the fact it can protect your business if you keep up with it.
