The first major I know for sure that relates to cyber security is Computer Science. Computer Science is the study of computers and programming languages. Because cyber security analysts need to have a deep understanding of how computers, and networks work they are similar. Also the majors have the same type of classes. Another major that you can get that relates to cyber security is Computer Engineering. Computer engineers organize, and design systems bridging hardware and software. From an article I read computer engineers have mostly everything to do with cyber security. They both focus on hardware and software. The next major that relates to a cyber security degree is a Criminal Justice degree. In a cyber world a Criminal Justice degree fits right in.  Everyday cyber security is becoming one of the biggest concerns for businesses and government agencies. A Criminal Justice degree can be applied in many work fields including forensics, crime analysis, and crime scene investigation. Information systems and cyber security are both important to organizations. Both of them focus on data protection. Information technology has a similar meaning to cyber security but IT is protecting data and information systems from unauthorized access. Cyber security focuses on the protection of data on the internet primarily by hackers and cyber criminals. Even if you get a degree in IT you can still get a job in the cyber security field. Cyber security can relate to many fields, as long as your degree has something to do with technology then I believe you can work in the field and be successful.
