The way we use it can significantly impact our mental well-being, so it&#8217;s important to take a step back and be mindful of how we engage. For me, platforms like TikTok and Instagram are the most enjoyable and where I tend to spend most of my time. They offer quick, digestible content that fits into my day, making them ideal for catching up on entertainment or staying updated on trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, being a sports major and someone who loves everything related to sports, I\u2019ve made it a priority to make sure I\u2019m absorbing the necessary information to stay informed. Social media is great for catching breaking news or insights, and I enjoy watching content that helps me grow in my field. Still, I know that I must be mindful of how much time I spend scrolling. Social media can be a double-edged sword, and it\u2019s essential for me to maintain a healthy balance. I have a personal life outside of my digital world, and my career goals require me to be focused and present in both my studies and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why I keep my social media consumption intentional. I spend just enough time to get the information I need\u2014whether that\u2019s staying up-to-date with sports news or learning something new that contributes to my goals. In the future, I envision myself less active on social media, with more focus directed toward engaging with my community.
