{"id":156,"date":"2023-02-05T17:47:44","date_gmt":"2023-02-05T17:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/basicspanishdraft\/?page_id=156"},"modified":"2023-04-21T22:44:51","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T22:44:51","slug":"can-do-statements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/tannergarciaspanish102f\/can-do-statements\/","title":{"rendered":"Can-Do Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actfl.org\/publications\/guidelines-and-manuals\/ncssfl-actfl-can-do-statements\">NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements<\/a> are the result of collaboration between the National Council of State Supervisors for Languages (NCSSFL) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Language learners to identify and set learning goals and chart their progress towards language and intercultural proficiency;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educators to write communication learning targets for curriculum, unit and lesson plans;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stakeholders to clarify how well learners at different stages can communicate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As seen above, the can do statements are accurate to analyze my level of Spanish. Attached below is my can do statements along with a screenshot of a conversation that I had with a peer about a concert we were both attending.
