Identifying opportunities and threats go hand in hand with planning. It was identified in this module that human beings have a psychological disorder that refrains them from looking at the environment in a systematic way, which is called change blindness.

Good ideas, therefore, need to be implemented in a structured manner both in bearing in mind trends in the environment as well as the structure and activities necessary to implement your idea

  1. External Environment
  2. Mission and Vision
  3. Internal Organization (planning)

How Will This Help Me

I plan to use these guidelines when working on my project in order to make my innovation as realistic and successful as I can. If I create a product and don’t look at the opportunities and threats that are attached to it, I am bound to fail.
