Am I an entrepreneur? When I think of an entrepreneur, I think of someone who uses a business or non-profit organization to sell a product or a service. With that being said, I do believe that I am an entrepreneur. This past year, I have started to sell my old clothes on the Internet to make extra cash. I came up with this idea for myself, worked hard to sort and upload pictures of my clothes, and obtained a P.O. box to send and receive products. This may not be everyone’s idea of what entrepreneurship is, but I believe that entrepreneurship can range from many different backgrounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe that I am a self-starter. When I have an idea, I tend to stick with my idea until I’m satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have a very open mind which makes it easy for me to get along with different personalities. My favorite example of how I get along with other personalities comes from a group presentation I was assigned to in a public speaking class. My professor assigned groups, and when I saw who was in my group, I became a little worried. Not only was I the only female, but I was also the only minority. When we got together as a group and discussed ideas, my group decided that we were going to create a presentation on car budgets and which car suits certain people. I was not a fan of this topic because I know absolutely nothing about cars, but I decided to keep an open mind and work with my peers. By the end of our group presentation, I learned more about cars than I ever could have imagined and became close friends with the people in my group. I’m a firm believer that keeping an open mind will take you further in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think that I am fairly well at making decisions, but have room for improvement, depending on what the decision is about. When it comes to making decisions about things involving my family and friends, I usually base my decision off of what I think other people want, which is where the room for improvement comes in. I’m also poor at making decisions when I’m put under pressure or have little time to think about what the best decision to make would be. When it comes to schoolwork, however, I am fairly good at making decisions because I have time to think about my actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Physical stamina is no problem for me. If I know that I have to get something done, I have no problem working on it until I get it done. My emotional stamina is not very stable. When I’m put under a lot of stress and pressure I tend to ignore my responsibilities because it becomes too much to handle. As I get older, I feel like I work better under pressure, so hopefully it will continue to grow as I grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I like to think that I plan and organize very well. For example, when writing papers, I like to plan what I’m going to write about first by organizing my topic into subtopics. From there, I add research and interesting information to my subtopics until I have enough information to write a well-written paper. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
