In this section lies two formal essays, one on the concept of character doubling and repetition within the novel Dracula based on “A Deconstructive Perspective” by John Paul Riquelme. The other essay details a suggestion on how the black race can thrive under American oppression guided by the concepts of African American “Race” Criticism and Feminist Criticism based on my interpretations of the novel, Wild Seed by Octavia E. Butler.
