Experience

Competition & Leadership

From about age four until I graduated high school, I was deeply involved in softball, playing on multiple teams throughout the years. I started in little league, moved on to travel ball, and eventually played for my high school team while still competing with travel. Softball was one of the biggest highlights of my life, and for a long time, I dreamed of playing in college. However, I ultimately decided to step away from the sport to focus on my education and fast-track my way toward the career path I want to pursue. Although my time as a player has ended, I still coach when I can, and the game continues to be a meaningful part of my life. Softball taught me invaluable lessons in hard work, commitment, determination, and, most importantly, leadership. I was a leader on almost every team I played for, and I still have friends or younger players who reach out for advice. It is something I truly pride myself on and hope to bring these valuable lessons to my future career.

Volunteer & Community

Throughout middle and high school, I was a part of the National Honor Society. We learned the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character; this taught me to not only value myself but to appreciate the community that surrounds me and to give back to others. I volunteered countless hours at food banks, veteran breakfasts, and after-school programs to contribute more to the society around me. It is extremely important to take value in those around you, especially in the workplace. Teams that work well together achieve great things. Also, living in a community where others work together to make it a better place makes everyone feel safe and connected.
