On each of these pages, you will examine 2-3 texts we discussed within those eras, exploring a key concept or theme (ex. leadership, heroes, gender, love, religion, jobs, class, education, etc). What do these texts say about your concept? How do these texts argue for their view of your concept (i.e. use and analyze quotes related to your concept). Finally, how are these texts’ commentary on your concept/ theme relevant to today’s readers? What does considering the past’s discussion of these concepts add to our current knowledge? You will need to incorporate some research across these particular pages (minimum three sources). On these pages you may incorporate course content, images, videos, audio, etc. to illustrate your interpretation of the texts and their connections.
