I have participated in both SPAN101 and SPAN 102F. We’ve completed multiple live discussions using the vocabulary we’ve learned during the course. I have also used my “spotty” Spanish skills during my multiple trips to Mexico. I especially enjoy conversing with the shop owners and restaurant staff. My favorite activity while traveling is singing with the mariachi bands. My favorite song is “Cielito Lindo” by Jorge Negrete.

I look forward to using my language skills to better communicate with other professional within the engineering field.
