Before arriving at my final proposal, I went over multiple proposal ideas. My first idea was the creation of an \u201cevent\u201d, where students, alumni and donors could interact with ODU Athletics in different ways, meeting the athletes, coaches, watching the games, etc. Even though I think this is a good idea and it can be done (considering Sydnee\u2019s position) it would take a lot of planning and some of the things needed to create this event are out of my control. My second idea was to revamp the fan experience, with changes in the pre- and post-match fan experience. The integration of technology would be a big part of this, serving as a tool to connect the fans to the organization, making the game day experience more exciting and driving more people to the games. This idea is very exciting, but again it would take more than just me and my proposal to achieve it. My last idea was to create a digital media series that highlights the hidden side of sport facilities and event operations. This would drive more eyes and impressions to Sydnee and her work and would be very appealing for those interested in this career area, serving as an opportunity to learn more about it. I ultimately decided to choose this one as is the one that I feel fits the topic and the materials I learned from this class better<\/p>\n\n\n\n
