While writing my rough draft for my recent essay, I began to realize how it had become slightly easier for me to compose an essay. I found that I have improved in the amount of time that it has taken me to think of the direction I want to go and how to execute it nicely. It seemed to have been easier because I was able to write about me and how my writing has changed since the beginning of class. The only challenges that I seem to still face are trying to find a way to correct my sentences correctly and the clarity of my sentences. Even with these obstacles still in my way I find that it has become easier to figure out how to correctly put my sentences together, and making sure that most things are put together and my topics are strong.

The challenges have not set me back in a way in which I feel that I am not a strong writer. They push me to want to figure out how to make things easier for myself and with this recent writing even if it still had little mistakes of mine here and there I find a way to correct them. But with the help of UNIV 150, I have become better at spotting my spelling errors, comma splices, and choosing strong topics. If it wasn’t for this class I would have made the same mistakes and It shows in my recent essay the growth and by how much quicker I was able to get it done.

Essay 4 exposed me to the challenges that I am still facing but it also showed me how far along I have come over time. I will be able to take what I have learned and eventually take it into writings in the future.
