I chose an article from the IJCIC titled, “Understanding the Challenges of Cryptography-Related Cybercrime and Its Investigation.”
1) This article enhances the understanding of cryptography-related crime. This is related due to the rise of cybercrime. Cybercrime creates victims, social science deals with those victims.
2) This article looked at 2 different articles and asked, “What are the challenges of cryptography towards present cybercrimes?”
3) The research method used was analyzation and comparison of two different articles. These articles also used thematic content analysis.
4) The article analyzed data from two articles, featured in the special issue of the International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence and Cybercrime.
5) This article includes information regarding how cybercrime involves complex technologies in a way to be easily understood by readers. This study goes into the fraud and scams of the Dark Web. This involves many human factors and different psychological aspects.
6) Certain scams on the Dark Web could be considered a challenge to certain groups of people. Certain Dark Web scammers could be looking to target a certain population.
7) This article opens up the world of Cybercrime as no one else has before. It made it easy for readers to understand. This involves Dark Web scamming and fraud acts. Also, the article looks into cryptography and its role in cybercrime. The findings contribute to effective criminal justice policies and provide insights for future research.
