This chapter we talked about literature and history, and how to use the perfect tenses to describe actions that have or had happened in the past. This was perhaps the most important chapter of this class because it taught me how to tell a story and when to use the different tenses. For the project in this chapter, we had to write and create a short story that happened in the past. This required critical thinking about when to use the preterite or imperfect tenses. This chapter helped me the most because it required me to use critical thinking in creating or telling stories. My short story was about an alternate version of history where the indigenous people of the Americas battle and turned away the Spanish conquistadors. We also had to analyze our own project and determine what type of story it was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
