My partner and my answers were slightly different. Above are my answers. My partner said for his boss he would wait as long as he had to. The rest of our answers were pretty much the same. The shortest time I would wait would be for my client. I could always have other clients that would be waiting on me that I would have to get to. The longest time I would wait would be for my parent. The times that were the same amount would be for my boyfriend, best friend, and my boss. It is interesting that times are different for different people in relation to us.

Between my partner and my responses, there were no differences. When looking at certain jobs, society categorizes which sex is more associated with that job due to the majority of the sex that works in that field. When asking my partner which one they chose, I did not tell him the one I had chose until after he answered. I also had another person in the same area when I was asking my partner and the other person had the same answers as both of us. Even though both sexes do work in all of the fields, there usually is more of a specific sex in a certain field than the other.

Module 3
When doing the enculturation activity I noticed that my parent’s values and mine were the same. I was raised to be the best person I can be, work hard, always work to achieve my goals, never give up, treat everyone with respect, and to make the best out of life. I was also taught to never be envious of what others may have, because there is always someone that has less than you. I liked that I grew up in a house structured with values, because it formed me into the person I am today.
Module 1
I pick the American Flag as the object that represents my culture. I picked the American Flag because it is the symbol of where I have grown up. The flag is very symbolic to Americans. The flag represents the 13 Colonies and the stars represent the 50 states of the Union. Colors of the flag are symbolic as well; red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. Another view that people have when they look at the American Flag is freedom. I am proud of our flag, and I count it as my symbol of culture.
