Thanksgiving is the time to bring family but it’s not everyone’s favorite holiday. Thanksgiving affects everyone mood because some people do not have anyone to spend this day with. When I go back home for this holiday break, I will be working in the morning every day. The effect of me working, it that I will not have time to spend with my family. Usually, we will have family come down to visit but since they’re all spread out most will not be able to come visit. No matter if we have family or friends over we will always dress up and one year my brother wore dress pants the were too loose so they kept falling off. My mom starts cooking the day before because most of the food takes time to cook. My mom always seasons the turkey the night before, she puts it on its back, on the inside, on the sides, and underneath. Sometimes when my mom doesn’t feel good she will cook an everyday meal and just add turkey with ham. My family and I will always appreciate what my mom does for us.
