In addition to the “24-hour” rule, Altucher says time heals all wounds. People cannot hate forever; life goes on than why waste time hating on someone forever. When I used to live in Alaska there was a girl named Morgan, and she hated me. I was just a kid at this time, in the fourth grade and I had a girl who hated me. Since I was only in fourth grade I did not know what to do, but nine years later the same girl added me on Facebook then she also added me on Instagram. I thought this was very odd because I know when I was 9 she did not like me and now she added on almost every social media. Even though we were young, she still knew how she felt about me. Altucher said, “Sometimes the more people who hate you, the more it means you are getting out of the comfort zone.” This statement is very true because older I got I did not get out the comfort zone until I attended college. Even though I had a couple of haters since elementary school, I gotten more haters now that I am more social and out of my comfort zone.

Aside from having to deal haters they taught me so much. They taught me how to be the bigger person and grow up. If there is any individual hating on oneself, there are different ways to handle the situation. Altucher has other techniques for dealing with haters than the techniques I have spoken about. Oneself should take the time to read his article and try each technique little by little because even Altucher said it was hard but he also started results in his life. I would say to at least pick three points from his article and practice doing them. The more practice the better oneself gets at ignoring haters or dealing with them. We cannot stop people from hating us, but we can be the bigger person and not strike back at hate.
