At the beginning of the semester my writing skills were not bad, but with all that I learned my papers have improved. In my papers, I always had a few grammar mistakes such as comma splice and sentence fragments. Because of Writing for College Success, I have learned how to spot sentence fragments and comma splices. Along with sentence fragments and comma splices, I had just small mistakes in my papers because I did not take the time to proof read or I did not catch my mistake. My papers made improvements because of the writing sessions, the teachers that were involved did a great job helping students with their essays. I still have a few weaknesses that need to be improve; for example, word choice, punctuations, vocabulary, etc. I can improve these mistakes by practicing where commas go or how to use a semi-colon, also use synonyms to make vocabulary better, and use a dictionary for a bigger vocabulary.
