These Jim Crow laws affected all aspects of life: marriage, education, transportation, voting rights, and public accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This GeoInquiry begins with an overview of the number of types of Jim Crow laws throughout the United States. The major focus is on the Green Book by Victor Hugo Green that identified hotels owned and operated by African Americans on their travels throughout Virginia.
