The media definitely influences how people see cybersecurity. A lot of shows make hacking seem way more exciting than it really is. Sometimes things happen way too fast compared to real life. But some parts get it right – like talking about real hacking tools and vulnerabilities. That helps people understand the real challenges hackers face. Overall it seems we have a long way to go! As technology changes, movies need to keep up or people will have the wrong idea. Maybe one day we’ll see a show that really nails what it’s like to be a cybersecurity expert.
