This course helped to highlight how resilient our cells are and how much effort goes into keeping us alive. The processes of gene transcription, cell production, and apoptosis are integral to each other which has offered insight to various diseases but also potential cures. Learning about CRISPR and the hope it offers for the future was inspiring and I would love to have the opportunity to learn more about it!
