Security risks are becoming a new normal in this great world of technology. With everything being storing online, it makes all of the information in the world easy to access. There is a huge con when it comes to storing information on a network though. Networks are hackable and that created a huge security risk. Many countries have been hit with these attacks that try to interfere with their way of life as they know it. They go for major things in countries like infrastructure, elections and citizen records. Countries are now funding people to carry out these attacks on rival countries in the world. The United States itself has been hit with these types of state funded attacks during many important times of the country. There have been many accusations of the United States being hit with cyber attacks during the 2016 election which left many Americans being unsure of the election results which caused uproar in the country. This left the country vulnerable for quite sometime during this era. It made the United States that we needed to make sure that the future of this country has to be protected using cyber security in a better way than we ever have. Another country that has been hit with a major cyber attack was Ukraine. This was an attack on some of the nations most vital resources. They targeted places like power plants, banks, and transportation systems. These attacks crippled the country for a great amount of time. People were left without access to many needs for a great while. This attack is used as an example to the rest of the world to invest better in to their information security. No country want to go through this type of hardship ever. Many problems can occur from not getting your security better.
