Hello, my name is Wayne Ricks Jr., and I am attending Old Dominion University in hopes of becoming an ethical hacker. I grew up in Surry County, Virginia and attended Surry County High School; graduating fourth in my class. I participated in many after school activities such as: football, baseball, track, marching band, concert band, National Honor Society, and Technology Student Association. Growing up in a rural community, there wasn’t much technology at my disposal, but I didn’t let that change my goals on my dream career. My favorite hobbies are working on cars, playing video games, debating about football, and spending time with family and friends. I wish to pursue a career as an ethical hacker because I know that it’s going to challenge me and force me to put my best effort in as well as the number of opportunities that come with working in this field.
