African American Criticism Sandbox

I think African American criticism was the most interesting theory to write about because I connected it with another class I am taking this semester. I was able to use my knowledge about settler-colonialism and the systematic disadvantages and racism towards black Americans to help me write the essay. Langston Hughes’ Theme for English B was a favorable literary artifact to use to apply this theory. I believe this theory can be used to educate and appeal for a cultural change.
