I believe Faulkner uses chronological order, distance of the narrator, and perspective to accentuate the structure. I felt that this criticism was easy to find textual evidence to answer and support the questions asked by structuralist theorists.\u00a0 This essay could be expanded upon by questioning how the story relates to culture as a whole.
