Since the introduction of technology, workers can do more straightforward and faster tasks because of technology implementation. For instance, say you have to write an article for a paper, and it&#8217;s due by the end of the day. With a pen and paper, this simple task may take most of the day. With pen and paper, you must write the article and be sat at a table to write it, but it must also be eligible to another person so they can work on it. All and all, a pen-and-paper workplace has no proper time for workplace deviance. While on the other hand, in a technological workplace, typing out an article would take a few hours throughout the day. For example, the average work day is eight hours, and it takes three hours to type a report. You could either go about your day and wait til the last three hours or do a little bit all day. You were stretching out a three-hour task over eight hours, doing a little bit of work every few minutes to stay on time while also deviating from the workplace mindset. Also, since your work is being completed on a laptop, you wouldn&#8217;t have to deal with clean handwriting or the eligibility you&#8217;re typing on a computer. However, since you are on a computer, there are other problems you might have. There&#8217;s always a chance that your article gets stolen by hackers or deleted by any cyber-based threat. So the technological shift in the workplace has pros and cons, so you have to make sure you know which side is weighted more. However, with a little bit of cyber awareness and security, there could be no or very few cons to having technology-based workplaces.
