What I thought a Scrum Master was not what I was excepting. In the list of 50 jobs, it has “Cybersecurity Scrum Master – Watch over and protect all data.” What I was thinking it was is something like a data manager. A person that keeps track of data usage and software. Not necessarily a programmer but looking at how the data is stored and moved around. What a Scrum Master really does is “Oversee and Govern specialty area provides leadership, management, and direction to effectively conduct cybersecurity work” (Cyber Katia). I was part right. It is still a manager but over people not data. Leadership skills is also important to have when you are trying to get everything to run smoothly.
Data Recovery Specialists can be a very important job. You should not ever need a recovery specialist because you should always have backups but if you don’t have backups or the backups also failed then you are in trouble. “The Certified Data Recovery Professional (CDRP) is responsible for recovering data from damaged or partially destroyed hard drives and removable media” (fieldengineer.com). Hard drives because of the moving parts are the most likely component to fail in a computer. Recovering a file deleted by mistake is much easier to deal with. Data is not cleared when it is deleted. The data just sits there until it is overwritten. If you get to it fast enough (and can find where it is in memory) then you should be able to get the file back. Always have a backup of all important data. Recovering data might fail and it costs a lot more than a backup does.
