Having experience by volunteering on paid or unpaid internships definitely helps because one you have the experience and two it helps your resume to get an analyst job. Another option is if you’re in college you can go to the Dean and ask if there’s any help needed in the technical department. System Administration and networking skills would level up from that along with social interaction.
