Hello! My name is Xiaoyi Chen. I am from New York City and I am a freshman at Old Dominion University. Before I began my journey here at Old Dominion University, I served in the United States Navy from 2015 to 2024. I left home at 17 to join the Navy, and I was stationed here in Virginia for my first duty station. I left here in 2021 for Pensacola for my second duty station and it made me miss my time here in Virginia. I moved back here in 2023 after I was honorably discharged from the Navy in 2024.
