Over the past five weeks of being in University 150 I have learned a lot. Threw out High school I was told of my writing errors but my teachers never clarified how to correct these mistakes. Since being in this class I have had more clarification with what my errors are and how to correct them.
This class has helped me so much thus far. I have learned how to use verb forms endings which is something that I struggled with but could not understand how I was wrong. I have also learned how to deal with my problem of using fragments. I have also learned how to refrain from comma splices. my professor does a wonderful job of explaining the material. She ]does her job well because not only does she verbally explain what our mistakes are, she also does examples of the problems. She will write it out on the board for those who are visual learners, which helps me so much understand what she is explaining.
The only down side to this class is that the directions at not clear. When in class it seems that the agenda is allover the place. The only way to really gain anything from the class is to talk to the professor one on one for clarification on what exactly we should be doing to be successful in the class. I also do not like how the schedule is written because it is kind of confusing and it is a little wordy. Other than those things I really enjoy this class because it helps me with my writing skills. This class also allows me to practice my writing before it counts for more points. I like this class because I can wright about whatever I want as long as it is grammatically correct.
