By the end of my first week at ODU I learned a lot. I learned that the diversity that ODU sell to\u00a0us when applying is not true. Technically yes this school is very diverse but its divided. During the application process all I ever heard from administrators and tour guides was how diverse and unified ODU was which was the reason I decided to come here. After the first week of attending ODU I realized all of that was said just to make the school look nice. I remember going to events and there were only black people there and I never saw any white people. I thought it was weird considering how much unity was preached about this school.<\/p>\n
