To\u00a0validate your reflection, I\u00a0will incorporate elements of these assignments and activities as artifacts in each section. Also, I will include a link to the documents to further my explanation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An Effective Reflection Is<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>As I started I wasn&#8217;t really confident in my abilities in Spanish and was just so nervous about making mistakes. But my professor made sure we were confident when we spoke and made, should we speak loud and clear. My biggest weakness is my pronunciation and my verbal fluency. <\/li><li>I won&#8217;t pretend, I&#8217;m really not great at pronouncing\u00a0words. Even\u00a0after a semester later, I&#8217;m only able\u00a0to pronounce words I&#8217;m\u00a0semi-familiar with,,\u00a0like I couldn&#8217;t really read a sign in Spanish with accuracy.\u00a0 Last semester, three months after my lecturer had gone through the Spanish alphabet with me, I was still using it. I feel as though I can say words more confidently and clearly as a result of that, but I still made improvements by repeating our vocabulary words to avoid mistakes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artifacts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Proyecto 6-1 Mi familia\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LJSMMRQUhi0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>This was one of our first projects and I&#8217;m very proud of myself because this project took me so many takes to make myself more fluent or sound more smooth when I talk. I probably had about 13 audio recordings making this project. and I acknowledge my mistakes as well like this have a lot of grammar issues; for example, my adjectives weren&#8217;t always agreeing with the nouns.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Spanish Assignment\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X2_Jgx2d4zA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>Although I don&#8217;t have another video from this semester to compare to my other videos, I do have this video from my Spanish 1 class, which was at the end of the fall\u00a0semester. I think I have improved a lot because I talk under my breath, there&#8217;s a lot of &#8220;um&#8221;\u00a0and blank stares, but from gaining confidence and practicing in Spanish\u00a02. The\u00a0video above shows me speaking\u00a0clearly and\u00a0with less\u00a0complete\u00a0stoppage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exploring Culture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tu\u00a0(informal &#8220;you,&#8221; one person) and usted (formal &#8220;you,&#8221; one person) are the singular second-person subject pronouns in Spanish. Ustedes (informal males or mixed groups\/a group of all women) and vosotros\/vosotras (informal men or mixed groups\/a group of all women) are the plural forms (formal, group).The only difference is that in Latin America, the word vosotros is rarely used. In all circumstances, the plural &#8220;you&#8221; is referred to as &#8220;ustedes.&#8221; However, in different Spanish-speaking nations, Usted and Tu are used differently. Like sometimes its disrespectful to use Tu to someone in one country and not the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Engaging in Communities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\/A<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interpersonal Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talkaborad was very scary for me at first, because I was going to talk to a complete\u00a0stranger.\u00a0However,\u00a0when I did\u00a0talkaboard\u00a0I actually enjoyed myself talking to different types of Spanish speakers with different backgrounds and\u00a0experience. Although I did have technical issues, my partner didn&#8217;t stress out about it, and\u00a0we went past our talking time, helping each other understand. I thought that was so genuine and pure. It was only difficult because I was nervous and I treated it like\u00a0a test, so I fumbled words, but then\u00a0I\u00a0stopped treating it like a grade and genuinely\u00a0tried\u00a0to build a connection, which made it easier on my end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Talkaborad Conversation 2\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h0LeUCisR08?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presentational Speaking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Proyecto 6-1 Mi familia\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LJSMMRQUhi0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption> It took me about 13 audio recordings to make this project. However, it was very challenging for me because of my lack of study skills and my lack of vocabulary. My problem is that I don&#8217;t do my best all the time and I feel like a lot\u00a0of the time I\u00a0unconsciously\u00a0just want to get by, so my performance is hindered.
