During this semester I have definitely learned a lot about cells and how something so simple can also be so complex. One thing that I took interest in this semester was viruses . The information that I learned has definitely given me a different perspective about my surroundings. For example, a virus can live up to 48 hours or more, therefore it is extremely important to clean and have good hygiene. Writing the SARS-COV-2 paper has given me a greater level of understanding as to how viruses spread and how they operate. My goal is to attend medical school after I graduate from ODU. I plan on specializing in OBGYN, and with the information that I have gained, I have a better understanding on helping mothers, newborns, and ladies on how to prevent catching viruses and how to handle situations containing viruses.
