Univ 150 has definitely changed how I write essays and that especially shows in essay 3. I have grown so much as a writer since essay 1 and that really shows. My language and grammar are so much stronger and its easier to get my point across. There were plenty of ups and downs when It came to writing this essay, however. I think the hardest challenge I had to overcome was writing in the third person without giving my own opinion on the topic I was talking about. I kept thinking this was more of a persuasive essay in which I had to show my opinion and what I thought but I had to do the opposite and it was very hard to overcome. Once I got over this hurdle though and got a hang of the language, I had to use it was actually pretty easy. The essay consisted of me going to the article and getting information, putting that in the paper, and then backing it up by using the third person. I have also learned a lot of techniques and writing skills in this class that helped me a lot with this essay. When writing essay 1 I realized I had a lot of grammar and language errors and since then all the stuff I have learned in univ 150 has helped me improve as a writer and show that on this essay. I think the one lesson that helped me the most was when we went over the 25 most common grammar errors in essays. This lesson really showed me how easy it is to mess up simple grammar but it can be easily fixed if you notice it early. Overall, I feel that I have grown so much as a writer after writing essay 3 and implementing all that I have learned in this class, and I\u2019m really excited to see what I can do in essay 4. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
