As I approach the completion of my degree in Cybersecurity, I have set clear professional goals to guide my career transition and growth. With my background in IT, having served four years in the Navy focusing on system administration, and my current role as a network engineer, I am well-positioned to leverage my experience in cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My immediate goal after graduation is to transition into a cybersecurity-focused role, ideally within a security operations center (SOC) or as a security analyst. I aim to combine my expertise in system administration and network engineering to develop strong security measures, monitor threats, and respond to incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the long term, I plan to deepen my technical knowledge and pursue certifications such as CISSP and CASP, which will enhance my ability to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity tools and frameworks. I also aim to gain experience in threat hunting, vulnerability assessment, and risk management to contribute meaningfully to organizational security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
