About Me

My name is Selasi, and I am a cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University with a strong interest in networking and system security. I am passionate about understanding how systems operate, how vulnerabilities are exploited, and how to protect digital environments from evolving threats.

As I continue my academic journey, I am building hands-on experience through coursework in areas such as Python programming, Linux systems, and cybersecurity principles. I am especially interested in network security and plan to pursue a career focused on securing infrastructure and defending against cyber attacks.

On campus, I serve as a Resident Assistant, where I am responsible for supporting residents, fostering a safe and inclusive community, and responding to situations that require leadership, accountability, and problem-solving. This role has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, manage responsibilities, and handle real-world challenges under pressure.

I am also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where I serve as treasurer. Through this role, I have developed skills in financial management, organization, and teamwork.

I am driven to continuously learn, grow, and apply my skills in real-world environments. My goal is to contribute to the cybersecurity field by helping organizations build secure, reliable systems while staying ahead of emerging threats.
