About Me

Hello everyone, I’m Jimmy Benjamin. I’m a junior in cybersecurity at Old Dominion University, from Fairfax, Virginia, and expected to graduate in Spring 2027. Before this I was a mechanical engineering major, but it wasn’t working out as well as I’d hoped. However, the switch has been kind since I’ve grown new interests in learning about technology advancements, operating systems and their differentiations (e.g. Kali Linux), and how it affects our developing world. As for skills – Hard Skills: growing knowledge of operating system/command-line proficiency and use of coding software. Soft Skills: communication, collaboration, adaptability to technological changes, and critical thinking. As the journey continues, I hope you stick around and I can’t wait to share my accomplishments with you all! Thank you very much.
