My name is Kiley Dellinger and I am a senior at Old Dominion University under the college of health sciences. While majoring under the Public Health Program, I recently begun an internship for Chesapeake Regionals Mobile Health Clinic. The mobile clinic is a fully equipped medical unit designed to serve the community whether an individual is underserved or uninsured. The goal of the mobile clinic is to close the gap in healthcare access making it attainable for all. My preceptors name is Phyllis Stoneburner, MBA, BSN, RN and the Executive Director Health Chesapeake Inc. since 2021. She has been guiding me through this process showing be all sides of not only Public Health but Global Health.
