My name is Madison Baughman and I am an aspiring cybersecurity professional. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia along with my three sisters. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, as well as quality time with friends and family.

My Experience

Throughout my high school career, I have taken two classes in cybersecurity, two classes in java coding, and one class in python coding. I have completed the CompTia IT Fundamentals certification and plan to complete more certifications in the future. I am currently taking a CYSE 200T course and will continue to take more extensive courses into the future.

My Hobbies

I have marched two full seasons of colorguard and am currently marching my third. I was team captain my senior year of high school and was accepted to the ODU marching band colorguard for my freshmen year of college. Colorguard is a hobby I enjoy in my free time, and I plan to continue to spin well into the future.

My Goals

My short term goal is to complete my Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University. I hope to graduate with a strong GPA and multiple internships completed. As for my long term plans, I can foresee myself holding a government position at the start of my career and potentially moving into freelance work later.
