Hi my name is Na’Kiyah Allen. I am a first time ODU student. I recently transferred from JUCO where I played the forward for the women’s basketball team. I now continue my education as a junior majoring in sports management. I am originally from a small town in Louisiana called Boyce. My home town is just a couple hours away from New Orleans where I enjoy going to spend Mardi Gras. Even though New Orleans was a place of fun and partying it was also a place of inspiration. I used to travel a lot for AAU tournaments in that area which developed my love for sports. This love was natured even at a young age. Growing up my dad played overseas which made my love for not only sports but basketball grow strong. So as I continue though college I hope to not only finish school but have to chance to also go overseas.
