Hello, my name is Octavia Wade, and I am a sophomore attending Old Dominion University. I decided to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Cybersecurity because I want to make a difference in the world. After all, it’s always evolving and changing.

I was born and raised in a small county called Charlotte Court House, Virginia. I’m not sure what I want to do with my degree yet, but I would like to have the flexibility to work remotely and travel the world, seeing different places, as I didn’t have that opportunity growing up. This is why I chose Old Dominion University, not only for its amazing Criminal Justice program, but also because it was different from my hometown and offered more opportunities that I didn’t have at home. I’m ready to see what Old Dominion University offers and all the wonderful things that I will achieve here!
