Hello,

My name is Kenacia Goings, and I am a junior here at ODU. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from the Health Sciences Academy with honors at Bayside High School. While attending ODU, I hope to obtain a degree in psychology and a minor degree in human services and criminal justice to help individuals overcome adversity. After graduating, I would like to further my education and receive a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology. Since my career requires me to be working with diverse people (e.g., ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation) this cross-cultural course will prepare me with the understanding on how culture impacts the thoughts and behaviors of my patients.
