I’m currently a beginner on my Cybersecurity journey and active duty in the U.S. Navy. I am new to the field but I’m excited to learn how systems work, how they are protected, and what it takes to keep our information secure.

Serving in the Navy has taught me the importance of accountability, attention to detail, and staying calm in high-pressure situations. My experiences are a big part of why cybersecurity interests me. Protecting information and systems feels like a natural extension of the responsibilities I already carry.

As I begin this journey, I am excited to build a foundation in cybersecurity concepts and to develop technical skills through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and real-world challenges.
