Hello! Welcome to my eportfolio, my name is Rita-Jane Giese but I mostly just go by Rita. I am a new Old Dominion University Student studying Cybersecurity. I transferred from Rappahannock Community College where I received my Associates of Arts and Sciences. I am a Junior here at ODU, I am only just beginning my Cybersecurity and technology classes but I am very excited to be learning and joining the world of Cybersecurity!

Some hobbies and fun facts about me;
I love reading, I have a tbr list longer than the list of books that I have read! Mostly because I don’t have much spare time to dedicate to reading right now but I still try to work some in.
I’m a big animal lover, I have a dog named Bean and I have raised quite a few chickens over the years with my Father.
When I spend time with friends we like to either go hiking or some other fun activity that we’ve never done before, like Segway tours in Richmond, or you could find us sitting in a Sheetz parking lot for five hours just chatting!
