I was born and raised in Kuwait, the Middle East. I came to America in 2021 and have been living here since. I am a rising senior at Old Dominion University, majoring in Biomedical Sciences Pre-Health. I do love studying and acing my tests, but on days when I hit rock bottom, I turn to my love of books and sports. I love to read fantasy novels and dystopian fiction, cozying up in my room with a fun drink at hand, but most of the time it’s either hot cocoa or herbal tea. And when the sun is out, and the breeze is just right, I like to play tennis with my family in a nearby park where I reside. I also love reading fun facts about anything. I think they are a great way to pique my curiosity. After graduating from Old Dominion University, I want to pursue a career in medicine, specifically as a physician.
