Rythem Anderson-Seawell
Hi, I’m Rythem Anderson -Seawell a senior Cybersecurity major at Old Dominion University, graduating in December 2025. I was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, and now live in Carrollton.
After high school, I earned my associate degree from Peninsula Community College while exploring different career paths. Although I once considered healthcare, I discovered that my true passion is in cybersecurity protecting digital systems, solving complex technical problems, and helping organizations stay safe against evolving cyber threats.
I’m building a strong foundation in areas like network security, Linux systems, and SIEM tools, while also developing hands-on projects that combine problem-solving with technical skill. I’m determined to break generational cycles by creating a successful career in technology and eventually using my knowledge to start innovative businesses that will make an impact.
Outside of my studies, I love fishing, bike riding, and spending time in nature it keeps me grounded and inspired. I’m also fascinated by entrepreneurship and continuously look for ways to grow, learn, and create opportunities for myself and others.
